- Ability to fill out paperwork, reports, daily logs, expense reports, trouble reports, and file them electronically with the Parity office.
This position requires both Domestic and International Travel, and is 99.9% in the field. Projects average anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months. The Technician, while out on a project, will work a mandatory 60 hour work week, Monday thru Saturday 10 hours per day (20 hours OT per week @ 1.5 x the hourly wage). When the projects are complete, unless there is a local installation that requires staffing, the Technician will be considered off-duty and not compensated while not on a project.

Generate application specific test procedures for RF performance, mechanical validation, antenna control system acceptance, and other sub-system specification performance verification.
Utilize all RF and electronic test equipment to include Spectrum Analyzers, Scalar Network Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers, Microwave Test Sets, Power Meters, etc. Perform sub-reflector optimization at L, C, X, Ku, Ka & Q-band, and perform antenna RF verification testing, G/Ts (Radio Star, Y’ Factors), System alignments and RF performance testing to include Gain/Slope, TOIs, PIMs, Phase Noise, Amplitude Response, Compression, Implementation Loss, VSWR & Insertion Loss, as well as Fiber optic insertion losses & OTDR fault isolation.
Perform installation & integration, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair of satellite antennas of all sizes, uplink & downlink equipment, servo and control systems, as well as antenna sub-systems and components.
